Our Founder's Background and Expertise

Before establishing My Paralegal, Lisa spent six years as a paralegal at Meros, Smith, Lazzara, Brennan & Olney, P.A., focusing on family law. She then moved on to Terra Law Firm, P.A., where she has been a paralegal and title agent for over a decade. At Terra Law Firm, Lisa honed her skills in real estate, community associations, and civil litigation.

In addition to her work at Terra Law Firm, Lisa has also been an assistant to the principal at Terra Management Services, LLC, a community association management firm affiliated with the law firm. Here, she managed corporate filings, association collection monitoring, and liaised with association law firms and DBPR licensing compliance management.

Lisa holds various prestigious certifications, including the NALA Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP), and Certified Paralegal Credential (CP). She is also a skilled litigation support professional, a Florida Notary, Licensed Title Agent, and an expert in closings.

Lisa is highly experienced in legal research, drafting a wide range of legal documents, handling residential real estate closings, and supporting attorneys in complex commercial real estate transactions. Her dedication to her craft has earned her a strong reputation among colleagues and clients alike.

Personal Touches

Outside of her professional life, Lisa is an avid Scrabble player and enjoys watching sunsets. Her personal interests and hobbies, combined with her impressive professional background, make Lisa a well-rounded and approachable professional.
